The Executive Chairman, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Comrade Ike Anyatonwu has sworn-in an Owerrinta born legal practitioner and Knight of the Anglican Communion, Sir Kelechi Ukaumunna Esq, as new Secretary to the Local Government Council.
Speaking while performing the swearing-in exercise held at the Conference Room of the Chairman, Comrade Anyatonwu charged the new SECLOG to contribute his quota in translating the visions of his administration into reality expressing optimism that Sir Ukaumunna will do well in his new assignment.
The Isiala Ngwa South Council boss while reiterating his readiness to work in synergy with the Legislative arm, appreciated the immediate past Secretary to the Local Government, Mrs. Akudo Ibe for her services to the Council.
In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary to the Local Government, Sir (Barr.) Kelechi Ukaumunna thanked God for using Comrade Anyatonwu to make the day a reality noting that he has come to contribute his quota to the development of Isiala Ngwa South, assuring that he will implant his footprints on the sands of time.
The Head of Service of the Council, Chief Ikpo Kalu Ochokwu had earlier administered oaths of office and allegiance on the newly sworn-in SECLOG while the event attracted the presence of the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Chimereze Joseph Nwankwo, the Leader, Isiala Ngwa South Legislative Council, Hon. Richard Sunday, Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Lady Adaku Pat Nnaji, members of Isiala Ngwa South Legislative Council, among other notable personalities.
